Suzuki Pressure switch

Postby vaughn on Tue Feb 02, 2010 7:27 pm

Hi all, I'm looking for a 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitara high pressure cut out switch. It is the switch that is screwed in to the side of the compressor. Suzuki part number is 9552650G00

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Pressure switches are generally located on the lines. Some have switches on their bodies. I believe your GV uses a trinary switch.

Thanks for the reply. The reason I say it is the switch on the compressor is because when it is jumped the a/c works.

That may be a high pressure cutoff switch then. You may either have a high pressure condition (fan not working) or a deffective switch (assuming there is a full refrigerant charge in the system).

Yes Sir, it is a bad switch. I'm just in the process of finding one. Any ideas on who I could order one from? I'm a long way from a dealer and they don't want to ship.
Thanks again.

My first suggestion is to contact ACSOURCE, our board sponsor, for that switch. www.acsource.com
