1989 ford F350 7.3 diesel I went to Napa auto parts and asked for mineral oil for my FS-6 compressor the man at the counter said fords take a special Paraffinic refrigerant oil napa part number 209503 the bottle says suitable for all R-12 air conditioning systems where paraffinic type oils are spacified and the man said the oil charge is 10 ounces. Is this information correct? What is paraffinic oil? what is the differance between this oil and mineral oil? thanks Octavio

Mineral oil IS a paraffin based oil.
