1996 S-10 AC Help

Postby TAC_Double » Wed Jun 29, 2005 3:57 pm

The AC system in my S-10 2.2L has been down for 2 years. The compressor had sprung a leak, so I stopped using the system. I am ready to try and get the system up and running again.

I am going to be buying an rebuild compressor for it. When I do this, what else should be replaced?

Also, what are the steps the need to be taken to get this done right? Is there a guide anywhere that would help or could someone walk me through the steps?

Thanks for your help in advance!!!!!!!

i just redid my 96 s-10 and am anbout to redo my 99 s-10. I recommend a least buying a new compressor, the rebuilt unit that i bought from autozone seized after two days of awesome cold air. i then went with the "new" but non Delphi unit for 269.00. i have a couple of posts under gixxering if you want to read them
