Service port cap broken

Postby Van Diest » Tue Apr 11, 2017 7:38 pm

95 Silverado, 134a. I have a low side service port cap (plastic) broken off inside. Any suggestions?

Thanks again.

? Try some snap ring pliers maybe warmed up just enough. That or a slotted head screwdriver same thing - warm it up just enough and unscrew it.

Do see a quality new one from a dealer if need be. IDK if it hacked up when removed ask for the whole thing most look welded and are not but get the right Schrader too it's not the size for ordinary tires tires,

I was able to use a small screwdriver to push and twist it out. Thanks again for your help.
